little miss “L” came in to commemorate her 100th day (or “Baek-il” as it is known in Korea) with a session at the studio. and even though mom said she is usually a pretty animated girl .. miss “L” decided that she didn’t like my camera and was not going to give me those smiles. nope .. i got spit bubbles instead (but aren’t they adorable!) …

luckily mom was able to get some smiles out of her while she was hanging out on the couch …

and then dad was showing miss “L” the baby shoes that he once wore .. i don’t think she was impressed .. but what a precious moment to capture!

and don’t worry mom & dad .. i peeked at some other images and she did give me more than the spit bubbles .. i hope you’ll be pleased! and thanks again for bearing with me through the heat in the studio .. next time we’ll have to try it at your place!

this sweet little guy had just turned 4 weeks so he was a little “old” for getting the typical shots you can achieve with a younger newborn (i like to get newborns in before 10 days if possible!) .. but little “P” still did great for us. i’m glad i was able to capture this shot .. mom mentioned how cute it was when he did that with his lips .. and i have to agree!

mom was worried we wouldn’t get anything and i have to admit that mr. “P” was a feisty one (and adorably so!) but with a lot of patience we got this image .. doesn’t he look so content here?

miss “E” was just the sweetest newborn .. only 7 days old and very curious and awake during most of the session .. but so content too!

towards the end she started to get a bit sleepy and we managed to get a few sleepy shots .. i just love this one and how she posed herself!

i was so excited to meet this little newborn .. she’s the first child of my youngest daughters 2nd grade teacher ..
and little ‘A’ was just the sweetest little thing! i should have known .. her mom is a sweetheart too .. my daughter just loved having her as her teacher this year

this little one was just 5 days old today .. brand-spanking new and as sweet as can be! and when i arrived at the house dad had golf on the tv .. so i set up right there in front of it (well .. that area did have the best light) and enjoyed watching the british open .. OK not really since i couldn’t keep my eyes off of this little face

i hope you enjoy the quick sneak peek mom & dad .. i enjoyed meeting you both and little H .. hope his appointment went well.

i met this little sweetie and her mom this morning .. and it was so endearing to see how smitten mom was with lil’ A .. but can you blame her ..

look at this little face ..

we tried to get one with their first baby .. but he wasn’t having too much of it .. of course this was after he’d been shooed away a few times!

yesterday i had the pleasure of meeting this sweet little newborn girl, who made her debut into the world exactly one week earlier!

and though she’d wake up pretty much each time after i moved her into a new pose .. she was content to just look around till she was sleepy again .. and then when we thought we had her back asleep .. she’d make sure i was still there …

so then she would nurse a bit and go back to sleep .. and we’d do it all over again LOL .. but oh so worth it .. don’t you think?

i had the pleasure of photographing another sweet little newborn girl this morning .. and i just had to come home and proof a few images. plus i knew that once my kids were home from school there’d be no computer time for me .. seems they need it more and more for homework!

anyway .. mom was great and let me take over her house and hold little E .. i almost got her to sleep but handed her off to mom to finish the job! and then we got down to some business .. which little E did so well!

I am currently looking for a limited number of fresh faces for my newborn portfolio. If you or someone you know is expecting in March or April and is interested in a complimentary newborn session and a set of birth announcements then keep reading!

I am specifically looking for newborns within the first two weeks of their life, so the session must take place within that time period. If you are worried about getting out of the house with a newborn, don’t, as the session will take place at your home! A typical newborn session will take approximately 2 to 3 hours. All I need from you, besides your time and your baby is a signed model release (which allows me to use the images from the session on my website or for other marketing materials) and you will receive the complimentary session and set of birth announcements. Additional prints may be purchased at a 10% discount.
