i’m bummed to announce that i do not have access to the studio in NE minneapolis anymore .. but there are always lots of great and unique locations to use around the cities and other studios that rent by the hour .. so i’ll be scouting those out for senior sessions!

i did decide to take my girls (and Riley) down to use it one last time .. and i’m glad i did!

my oldest daughter .. love these images! my girls are growing into young women .. anyone have any idea on how to stop time??

and it will probably be my first and only! not because i didn’t enjoy it .. i loved it .. but i really don’t have any plans on getting into wedding photography!

this was for my nephew who had just recently moved up to the Twin Cities with his fiance .. so glad to finally have some family up here .. it only took 19 years!

and one from outside .. had to show the snow .. S is from Kentucky and G has been there for college and just graduated with his doctorate (yes .. proud aunt!) .. i think they are still adjusting to our temps!

sweet sistersplymouth children’s photography

these two sisters visited the studio this past weekend for a signature session .. and they were just so sweet!

it always amazes me how different two children from the same parents can be … older sister was a bit more reluctant to give up her smiles .. and was definitely the more serious of the two! i loved her expression and eyes in this shot!

and little sister was not reluctant at all .. she was quick to smile and show her personality .. makes you wonder what she’s thinking here!

i enjoyed meeting both of you and your mom & dad .. and thanks again for bidding on the silent auction at Greenwood. i’ll be in touch when the rest of the gallery is ready!

a perfect fall evening …plymouth children’s photography

for playing in what was left of the leaves .. we were so lucky to have a perfect day for the ‘N’ family session!

and by the end of our time at this location i think we all had leaves all over our clothes .. and in our hair !

afterwards we headed back to their house and miss ‘G’ grabbed mom’s sunglasses ..

while the rest of the crew headed to the sandbox .. and little brother treated me to some “ice cream” he made .. such a gentleman!

i had the pleasure of meeting this little guy on Sunday .. little E was 5 days new and so sweet. i guess you could say we haven’t “officially” met since he never did wake up for the entire session! but i’m glad to introduce him to you anyway … loved this sweet moment with mom when he found his fingers …

and i just love the details of newborns .. the downy sweet fuzz on their back & ears …

and i always love to pull out this scarf .. reminds me of a little nest for the sweet little ones .. all snug and safe!

Thanks again Mom & Dad & Grandma for having me over .. newborn days are so fleeting and I feel so honored to be able to capture this special time in your life!

i had the pleasure of meeting this lovely family on Friday evening and with 4 kids you know their lives are full .. full of chaos and full of love!

loved both the brothers expressions on this shot .. and loved how mom styled the clothing .. so coordinated!

and these two sisters were so sweet together ..

and we can’t forget the boys .. could he be any cuter …

and this little guy had THE longest eyelashes i’ve ever seen on a boy .. cuteness overload!

why is it that the guys who seem NOT to be into the session turn out to be naturals in front of the camera? no complaints here .. made for an easy session :)

a special peek …high school senior photography

for my beautiful niece .. who has grown into such a lovely young lady! i had the pleasure of traveling to Chicago this weekend for her senior session .. and also was able to get some girl time with my sister-in-law :)

anyway .. we headed over to Cantigny Park near her house and it was just gorgeous .. i had never been there before so we just started walking and finding all these great spots .. like this near the back of one of the houses on the property .. love her eyes here!

after N changed we came back for some more here .. up on the porch …

then around the back near the garden pond .. where N was channeling Jackie O :)

then we headed down towards another area which was just lovely …

and i usually don’t condone just going up to and taking a picture with a stranger .. but this guy was so cute we just had too :)

thanks again sis for having me out to take N’s images .. had a blast with you and the girls!!
